A group of British Muslims visited us in the last ten days of the month of Ramadan in the year 1436 AH/2015 CE. They came in large numbers, and their ranks included a number of scholars, speakers, and people of knowledge.
Among them was an eminent Muslim scholar, a blessing from God for the believers, and a man worthy of mention in the heavens - God willing. He was our beloved brother Dr. Mohammad Akram Nadwi, God preserve him and protect him from every evil. I found him to be a man of real knowledge and practice, one belonging to the ranks of those who are mentioned as models of excellence, precision and deep understanding.
