“Ka’b’s Big Decision” relates the true tale of Ka’b ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), a companion who was strong and wealthy but who did not respond to the call for the expedition to Tabook.
The story leads the child through all too-familiar territory: “What should I do now that I’ve done something wrong?” “Maybe I can lie or make an excuse,” and through the shining example of Ka’b, teaches them the best way to solve such a moral dilemma.
The story has been brought to life with rhyming prose and attractive illustrations, enhancing the teaching of the seerah of the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and the ethical lessons of truth and honesty therein.
