Naazish Chouglay Artwork

Naazish Chouglay is an accomplished artist and an arts and crafts author. 

Naazish’s inspiration comes from historical monuments such as the Alhambra mosque in southern Spain and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey; as well as Arabic script being used in contemporary paintings.

Naazish started by painting floral and abstract designs on glass vases before finding her niche in contemporary Islamic art. More recently she has been experimenting with combining multimedia painting techniques and contemporary Islamic calligraphy to create new works of art. She has also been exploring the use of resin and leaf metal to provide unique vibrant and colorful pieces.
