The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948. Its adoption came a few months after the establishment of the State of Israel on part of the land of historic Palestine. Israel's behaviour towards the Palestinian people - and others - inside Israel, in the territories occupied by Israel and on the terrirtory of other sovereign states, in the fifty years since then provides a harrowing case study of the systematic violation of human rights.
This pamphlet consists of article by article interpretations in terms of the history of conflict between Palestinians and Israelis.
