Fadi Thabet is a young Palestinian activist and talented photographer. His family had to flee their home in the city of Bersheba and they settled in Gaza, where Fadi was born. He studied Fine Arts in university and uses photography to document life in Gaza. He is also involved in other pojects under the Community and Mental Health Programs. He has exhibited his photographs internationally. In this book he captures the brave fishing community of Gaza, highlighting the dying fishing indusry yet showing the resilience of the people of Gaza working and living under suffocation and strict sanctions and siege.
