Kitab Al-Amwal - Abu Ja'far Ahmad Ibn Nasr Al-Da'udi, Abu'l Muhsin Muhammad Sharfuddin

This work is an attempt to introduce readers to the Kitab Al-Amwal of Abu Ja'far Ahmad Ibn Nasr Al-Da'udi - a juridical treatise of the fourth century Hijrah. The treatise contains broad principles of state revenuews, military administration, as well as the authors verdicts (fatawa) on the settlements of lands in Al-Ifriqiyyah, Al-Maghrib, Spain and Sicily. It also explores how to maintain equilibrium in society between various groups of rich and poor people.
