Money and Banking in Islam and Fiscal Policy and Resource Allocation in Islam are the two volumes based on the proceedings on the seminar held on “Monetary and Fiscal Policies in Islam” held at Islamabad (January 1981). These books can be described as representatives of the new Muslim thinking on certain key economic issues raised in the context of contemporary Islamic resurgence. Islamic banking refers to a system of banking or banking activity that is consistent with the principles of Islamic law (Sharia) and its practical application through the development of Islamic economics. These books would give satisfactory explanation about the fundamental laws and principles of Islamic Banking and would provide a way to convince oneself on adopting it as an improved and efficient system of banking.
