Translated from the works of the early Muslim jurisconsultant and a developer of the Islamic legal system in his time: Shaikh Mohammad ibn Hasan ibn 'Ali Abu Ja'far al-Tusi. He was given the title Shaikh al-Ta'ifat al-Imamiyyah to signify his leadership of the head of the Shi'a Islamic School. He lived from 995-1067 AD.
