"The readers of this booklet will find that, as an ex planation of the fundamental principles of Islam, its subjectmatter takes the shape of a theory of History based on a theory of human nature, according to which Islam is the inevitable world-ideology of the future. The central idea of this theory of human nature is that man s urge for an ideal is the sole, the real and the ultimate motivating force of all his activities, even those which proceed immediately from his animal instincts, and that this urge can be satisfied only by an ideal of the highest Beauty and Perfection."
Dr. Mohammad Rafi-ud-Din was one of the significant Islamic thinkers of the 20th century CE. H ewas much admired by better known contemporary figures like very much known in the Muslim world like his contemporaries, Abu-ul-A’ala Mawdudi and Abul Hassan Ali Nadvi who considered him a dedicated Muslim and a systematic thinker. Abdul Majid Darya Abadi regarded him as the greatest philosopher after Dr. Muhammad Iqbal in the Indo-Pakistan subcontinent, and Mawdudi held him in high esteem as an Islamic educationist of great caliber.
